Metalized CPP Film, or Vacuum Metalized Cast Polypropylene Film (VMCPP), is a composite packaging material produced by coating a thin metallic layer (typically aluminum) onto cast polypropylene (CPP) film through a vacuum metallization process. The technology involves heating aluminum to vaporize it in a high-vacuum environment, then depositing the aluminum atoms/molecules uniformly onto the CPP substrate to form a 50–100 nanometer-thick metallic layer, endowing the film with high barrier properties, metallic luster, and conductivity.
